The pattern is designed for King Cole Cottagespun Chunky yarn.
You will need 5.5mm and 6mm circular knitting needles, as well as 5.5mm and 6mm double-pointed needles.
You can try, but you will need to adjust the needle size and check the gauge to ensure the finished sweater fits correctly.
Measure around the fullest part of the chest.
Use a stitch holder to keep your live stitches and unravel your work to the point of mistake and correct it.
Check your tension against the pattern gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to match the gauge.
Review basic circular knitting techniques. Use stitch markers to identify the beginning of each round.
Ensure that yarn is properly wrapped around the needles and that stitches are not accidentally dropped.
To begin, gather the necessary materials:
Follow the pattern instructions for the selected chest size and sleeve length. Ensure the correct needle sizes are used to achieve the specified gauge.
Care instructions will depend on the yarn used. Generally, hand wash the finished sweater in cool water with a mild detergent and lay flat to dry.
