The Forgefix Double Cliplock Pipe Clips are designed for professional installers and DIY enthusiasts who need a reliable, heat-resistant solution for securing 15mm pipework in residential settings. While polypropylene is durable, these are designed primarily for internal domestic central heating systems. Prolonged UV exposure may degrade the plastic over time.
Yes, they are compatible with most 15mm pipe materials, including copper and PEX, provided they conform to standard 15mm sizing.
The clips are rated to withstand temperatures up to 100°C.
Each box contains 50 individual pipe clips.
No, mounting screws are not included as the required screw type depends on the surface material you are mounting to.
Verify that the pipe is exactly 15mm in diameter and that no debris is trapped inside the clip jaws.
Ensure the screw used to mount the clip is fully tightened and that the substrate surface is level and not crumbling.
For optimal setup, ensure your drill bits and fasteners are appropriate for the substrate material (e.g., wood, masonry, or drywall). To install, align the clip on the desired surface, fasten it using compatible screws, and firmly press the 15mm pipe into the cliplock until an audible click is heard. Regarding care, these clips require minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect them during routine boiler services to ensure no thermal fatigue has occurred. Avoid using harsh abrasive cleaners; a simple wipe with a damp cloth is sufficient to remove dust or debris.
