Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure your jigsaw is unplugged before changing blades.
- Loosen the blade clamp screw on your jigsaw.
- Insert the Sjg99902 blade fully into the clamp.
- Tighten the blade clamp screw securely.
- Plug in the jigsaw and perform a test cut on scrap material.
Compatibility:
These blades are designed to fit most standard jigsaws that accept T-shank or U-shank blades (check your jigsaw's manual for specific compatibility).
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove any sawdust or debris from the blade using a brush or cloth. Avoid using water or solvents, as they can cause rust.
- Storage: Store blades in a dry place, preferably in their original packaging or a blade organizer, to prevent damage and rust.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect blades for signs of wear, dulling, or damage. Replace blades that are bent, chipped, or excessively worn to maintain cutting quality and safety.
