While it's safe for use, this pencil is specifically formulated and designed for optimal performance on the delicate waterline due to its creaminess and waterproof nature. For the upper lash line or eyelid, Urban Decay offers other 24/7 Eye Pencils with different formulations that might be better suited.
Yes, the 24/7 Waterliner Pencil is explicitly developed with a waterproof formula to ensure long-lasting wear on the waterline without smudging or fading throughout the day.
This pencil is designed for all-day wear. Once the color sets, it is formulated to stay put and won't budge on your waterline.
No, the Urban Decay 24/7 Waterliner Pencil formula does not contain mineral oil or paraffin.
For effective removal, use an oil-based or bi-phase eye makeup remover specifically formulated for waterproof cosmetics. Gently soak a cotton pad with the remover and hold it over your closed eye for a few seconds before wiping away.
Use a cosmetic pencil sharpener designed for makeup pencils. Turn the pencil gently in the sharpener until you achieve your desired point. Clean your sharpener regularly to maintain its effectiveness and prevent product buildup.
The 24/7 Waterliner Pencil is even creamier and specifically developed for the waterline, providing a demi-matte, waterproof finish that sets and won't budge on that specific area. The regular 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is also long-wearing but designed for broader application on the lash line and lid.
Gently warm the pencil tip on the back of your hand for a few seconds to soften the creamy formula. Ensure your waterline is clean and dry before application.
Ensure your waterline is completely dry before applying the product. Apply two thin layers, allowing each to set for a few seconds. Avoid touching your eyes excessively after application.
Use an oil-based eye makeup remover specifically designed for waterproof formulas. Apply to a cotton pad, hold gently over your closed eye for a few seconds to dissolve the product, then wipe away without harsh rubbing.
Use a high-quality, sharp cosmetic pencil sharpener. Sharpen slowly and gently, twisting the pencil rather than forcing it. Store the pencil in a cool environment to keep the core firm.
Setup/Application: 1. Gently pull down your lower eyelid to expose the waterline. 2. Carefully glide the pencil along the inner rim, starting from the inner corner and moving outwards. 3. For a more intense look, apply a second layer. 4. Allow a few seconds for the waterproof formula to set. Compatibility: This pencil is designed for use on the waterline. While it shares the '24/7' family name with other Urban Decay eye pencils, its specific formulation makes it most compatible and effective for its intended purpose on the inner rim. Care: To maintain the pencil's precision and hygiene: - Always replace the cap tightly after each use to prevent drying. - Sharpen with a high-quality cosmetic sharpener to ensure a fine point for smooth application. Regularly clean your sharpener. - Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the creamy texture.
