Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This wallpaper uses a paste-the-paper application method. This means you will apply wallpaper adhesive directly to the back of the paper before hanging it on the wall.
- Prepare the Wall: Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or old wallpaper. Prime if necessary.
- Cut the Strips: Measure and cut the wallpaper into lengths, allowing for a slight overlap at the top and bottom.
- Apply Adhesive: Apply an even coat of wallpaper paste to the back of each strip, following the adhesive manufacturer's instructions.
- Book the Paper: Fold the pasted ends of the strip towards the middle, allowing the paste to soak in for the recommended time (booking).
- Hang the Strips: Unfold the top half of the strip and press it against the wall, aligning the edge. Then unfold the bottom half and smooth it into place.
- Trim Edges: Use a sharp knife to trim any excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board.
- Butt Joints: Ensure the edges of adjacent strips meet neatly without overlapping.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls. Ensure the surface is smooth and well-prepared for best results. It is not recommended for use in areas of high humidity or direct water contact unless adequately protected.
Care:
This wallpaper is washable. To clean, gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or excessive water, as this can damage the finish and pattern.
