This cutter is designed for ceramic and porcelain tiles. It may not be suitable for very thick, hard, or specialized materials like natural stone or glass.

For most standard tiles, a single, firm score line is sufficient. Press firmly and evenly in one pass.

After scoring, firmly and quickly apply pressure to the tile directly over the score line using the cutter's leverage mechanism.

The lifespan of the scoring wheel depends on usage and tile hardness. Inspect it periodically; if scoring becomes difficult or inconsistent, it's time for a replacement.

While it's primarily designed for straight cuts, with practice and careful alignment, very slight angles might be possible. However, precise angled cuts often require a specialized angled cutter or a wet saw.
