While Limo-Scene is a traditional nail lacquer, it can be used with a gel top coat if applied over a standard base coat and the lacquer itself is allowed to dry completely before the gel top coat is applied and cured under a UV/LED lamp. However, for best results and longevity, it's recommended to use it with a standard nail lacquer top coat.

With proper application, including a base and top coat, and avoiding excessive exposure to water and harsh chemicals, a manicure with Essie Limo-Scene can last 5-7 days before chipping may occur.

Essie nail polishes are generally formulated without DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde. However, individual sensitivities can vary. Always use a base coat to protect your natural nail.

Limo-Scene is characterized by its sheer, pastel pink shade, making it ideal for French manicures and natural looks. Other Essie shades may offer different finishes (creme, shimmer, metallic), opacities (sheer to opaque), and color families (reds, blues, nudes, etc.).

Ensure you are applying thin coats. If the polish has thickened significantly, it may be nearing the end of its usable life. Avoid adding removers or thinners unless specifically designed for nail polish, as this can alter the formula.
