This Kenable CAT 6A Ethernet cable is designed for users in environments with significant electro-magnetic interference (EMI), such as factories, data centers, or hospitals, ensuring stable and high-speed data transfer. Its key benefit is superior noise resistance and alien crosstalk reduction. A minor consideration is its thicker shielding compared to standard cables, which may affect flexibility in very tight spaces.

This CAT 6A cable supports speeds of 10/100/1000/10000 Gigabits per second (10 Gbps).
SSTP stands for Screened Shielded Twisted Pair. It means each pair of wires inside the cable is individually shielded, and the entire cable may also have an overall shield, providing superior protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI).
While designed for performance and protection, it is a shielded cable and may be less flexible than unshielded cables. The snagless design and strain relief aim to make handling easier.
This cable is designed for indoor use, particularly in environments with EMI. It is not rated for outdoor exposure to weather elements.
The cable features a 26AWG full copper core.
The snagless boot has wings rather than a full hood, protecting the RJ45 clip from being broken off when cables are pulled or snagged, while still allowing easy access to the clip itself.
Yes, it is suitable for a home network, especially if you experience interference issues or want to ensure maximum performance for demanding applications like streaming 4K video or online gaming.
Ensure both ends of the cable are securely plugged into the correct ports. Test with another known working cable to isolate the issue. Check device network settings.
Verify that both connected devices and network infrastructure support the expected speeds (e.g., Gigabit or 10-Gigabit). Ensure the cable is not damaged and is fully seated in its ports. Check for environmental interference that might be affecting the signal.
Inspect the cable for any visible signs of damage. Ensure the RJ45 connectors are making good contact. If the cable is routed near strong sources of EMI, try rerouting it or using an alternative cable path.
Setup: Simply plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on your network devices (e.g., computer, router, switch, patch panel). The snagless boots are designed for easy insertion and removal.
Compatibility: This cable is compatible with all standard networking equipment supporting Ethernet standards up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet. It is backward compatible with CAT 5e, CAT 6, and CAT 6a networking ports.
Care: Keep the cable away from excessive heat, moisture, and sharp bending radii. Clean the connectors periodically with a dry, lint-free cloth if they become dusty. Avoid crushing the cable or exposing it to physical damage.
