This kit is specifically engineered for Shad top cases and their respective mounting plates; we do not recommend mixing brands.
The mounting plate is generally included with the top case purchase; the fitting kit (H0NT73ST) provides the hardware to attach that plate to the bike.
Standard motorcycle maintenance tools such as metric wrenches and hex keys are typically sufficient for installation.
This is a Top Master kit designed specifically for a top case. Side case mounting would require an additional, separate Shad side-mount kit.
