Product Information

Full details

The rucomfy Beanbags Cube Beanbag is designed for individuals seeking a versatile and compact seating solution that transitions seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces. Its primary benefit lies in its multi-functional design, serving effectively as a plush seat, a convenient footrest, or a makeshift side table, though users should note its relatively small footprint of 38cm squared might not accommodate everyone as a primary armchair.

FAQs

Can I leave the beanbag outside in the rain?

While the fabric is water-resistant, it is designed for incidental outdoor use. It is recommended to store it indoors when not in use to extend the life of the materials.

Is the filling replaceable?

The product features a secure zip, but it is recommended to keep the cover closed to maintain safety standards.

What are the exact dimensions?

The beanbag measures H:38.0 x W:38.0 x D:38.0 cm.

Does it meet fire safety standards?

Yes, it strictly adheres to the British Fire Safety Standard BS 5852.

Is the weight capacity specified?

While designed as a stool or seat, it is built for standard domestic use, though it is best to avoid standing on it to ensure longevity.

Troubleshooting

The beanbag feels less firm over time

Beanbag filling can naturally compress with use; periodically fluffing the cube can help restore its shape.

Fabric surface appears dirty

Wipe the surface with a damp cloth; for deeper cleaning, remove the cover if applicable and machine wash at 30 degrees Celsius.

The beanbag slides on hard floors

Place the beanbag on a non-slip rug or mat to keep it stationary during use.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Versatile use as a seat or footstool
Lightweight and portable design
Water-resistant for outdoor durability
Compliant with UK fire safety standards
Arrives fully filled and ready to use

Cons

Small dimensions may not suit all body types for long-term seating
Single-piece construction limits height adjustment
Not intended for heavy-duty outdoor exposure during extreme weather

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the cube is instant; it arrives filled and ready for immediate use. To maintain the structural integrity and cleanliness of the product, keep it away from sharp objects that could puncture the water-resistant outer shell. For routine cleaning, the cover can be washed at 30 degrees Celsius; always dry the cube flat to ensure the fabric retains its shape and prevents uneven stretching. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may degrade the water-resistant coating over time.
