Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation:
- Identify the appropriate drill bit size (8 mm) for the Fischer DuoPower.
- Ensure the drill bit is suitable for the material (e.g., masonry bit for brick, concrete).<br>
- Drilling the Hole:
- Drill a hole to the recommended depth (7.5 cm minimum) for the DuoPower.
- Remove any dust or debris from the drilled hole.<br>
- Inserting the DuoPower:
- Insert the DuoPower into the hole, ensuring the rim is flush with the surface.
- If necessary, gently tap the plug with a hammer until it is flush.<br>
- Screwing:
- Insert the screw through the item to be mounted and into the DuoPower.
- Tighten the screw until the item is secure, but avoid over-tightening.<br>
Compatibility:
The Fischer DuoPower is compatible with the following materials:
- Autoclaved aerated concrete
- Brick
- Concrete
- Masonry
- Plasterboard
Care:
- No specific care is required for the DuoPower itself.
- Ensure that the screws used are appropriate for the application and weight to be supported. Using screws that are too long or too short may compromise the hold.
