Use a suitable outdoor-rated extension cord of the correct length and amperage for the mower's power requirements.

Fold the handles for compact storage and store the mower in a dry place. The mower can also be wall-mounted.

Inspect the blade regularly and sharpen it as needed. If the blade is damaged, replace it.
