The innovative design distributes weight over twice the fixing diameter, ensuring stress is spread evenly across a larger area. Suitable for plasterboard thicknesses ranging from 9.5mm to 15mm, GRIPIT fixings are designed for effortless fitting. Simply mark the spot, drill the recommended hole size using a flat bit, and tap in the GRIPIT. Insert the screw and a simple twist allows the GRIPIT wings to deploy behind the board, completing the installation. The Red GRIPIT fixings are supplied with 5mm screws. GRIPIT fixings are reusable; simply unscrew to release and remove. For challenging installations involving double-thickness plasterboard or dot-and-dab adhesive, the GRIPIT Undercutting Tool (sold separately) creates the necessary recess for the wings to engage securely.
