The Trakker Tempest RS 150 Social Cap is an essential accessory for dedicated carp anglers who use the Tempest RS 150 shelter and require extra utility space. By adding a 1.2-meter porch area, it provides a dedicated zone for socialising or gear storage while significantly improving the shelter's thermal performance and moisture management. While it is a highly functional upgrade, it does increase the overall weight of your loadout and requires proper setup to ensure maximum tautness.

This Social Cap is specifically designed for the Trakker Tempest RS 150 model.
The package includes the Social Cap, a set of T-Pegs, a tension strap, and an Aquatexx zipped carry bag.
While it is possible, it is recommended to detach the cap for easier storage and to prevent damage during transit.
The Social Cap adds 5.70kg to your total transport weight.
The Aquatexx fabric is designed for outdoor performance, but as with all fishing shelters, you should avoid using open flames or heating devices inside the structure.
The Hydrostatic Head (HH) rating of 25,000mm indicates the level of water pressure the fabric can withstand before moisture penetrates it, representing a very high level of waterproofing.
Adjust the integrated tension strap until the fabric is taut; ensure all anchor points are pegged correctly into the ground.
Open the twin side vents to improve air circulation and ensure the main shelter's vents are also unobstructed.
Ensure the cap frame is properly aligned with the shelter frame to prevent tension misalignments that cause zipper misalignment.
To set up the Social Cap, attach the pre-formed aluminium frame to the front of the Tempest RS 150 following the included tensioning points. Ensure the cap is pulled taut using the supplied tension strap to prevent water pooling on the roof.
Compatibility: This product is specifically engineered for the Trakker Tempest RS 150. It is not designed to fit other shelter sizes.
