Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Identify the SCART port on one device and the Red, White, and Yellow RCA (phono) ports on the other.
- Insert the SCART plug firmly into the SCART socket.
- Connect the Red, White, and Yellow RCA plugs into the corresponding color-coded sockets on the other device. Typically, Red is for the right audio channel, White is for the left audio channel, and Yellow is for composite video.
- Ensure both devices are powered off before connecting or disconnecting cables.
- Power on your devices and select the correct input source on your display.
Compatibility:
This cable is compatible with any devices that feature standard SCART and RCA (composite video and stereo audio) connections. It is suitable for analog video and audio signals only. It will not work with digital signals (like HDMI or DVI) or component/S-Video signals.
Care:
- Store the cable in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable, which can damage the internal wiring.
- Gently clean the connectors with a dry, soft cloth if they appear dirty or corroded. Do not use liquids.
- Ensure plugs are fully seated in ports but do not force them.
