Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Ensure you have the necessary timbers (not included) cut to the dimensions of your shed.
- Assembly: Assemble the corner brackets and bearing plates. Attach the piles to the bearing plates. Ensure the brackets are properly spaced and the frame is square.
- Adjustment: Use the adjustable features of the kit to level the base on your chosen site. The kit provides up to 6 inches of adjustment for uneven ground. Use a level to ensure the platform is perfectly level.
- Securing: Once the base is level, secure the timbers to the brackets using the provided screws. Ensure all screws are tightened properly.
*Compatibility*: The QuickJack Shed Base Kit is compatible with various shed sizes and timber types, provided the timbers are properly sized. Ensure you use pressure-treated timbers to prevent rot.
*Care*: Regularly inspect the base for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure the screws remain tight. Check for any ground settlement and readjust the leveling if necessary. Keep the area around the base clear of debris and excessive moisture.
