Setup, Compatibility & Care
Compatibility:
The Enthoo Pro 2 supports a wide range of motherboard form factors, including ATX, EATX, micro ATX, Mini-ITX, and SSI CEB. It accommodates CPU coolers up to 19.5 cm in height and graphics cards up to 503 mm in length. Storage options include up to 12 x 3.5" HDDs and 11 x 2.5" SSDs.
Setup:
- Prepare the Case: Remove the tempered glass side panel by unscrewing the rear thumbscrews and carefully lifting the panel. Identify the motherboard standoffs and install them if necessary for your specific motherboard size.
- Install Motherboard: Carefully place your motherboard onto the standoffs and secure it with screws.
- Install Storage: Mount 3.5" HDDs into the dedicated cages and 2.5" SSDs onto the designated mounting points.
- Install Power Supply Unit (PSU): Mount the PSU in its designated location, typically at the bottom rear.
- Install Graphics Cards & Other Peripherals: Insert your GPU into the appropriate PCIe slot and secure it. Connect all necessary power and data cables.
- Cable Management: Utilize the provided routing holes and Velcro ties to manage cables for a clean build and improved airflow.
- Cooling Setup: Install fans and radiators according to your cooling plan. Ensure intake fans are positioned at the front and exhaust fans at the rear/top.
- Connect Front Panel I/O: Connect the front panel USB, audio, power, and reset connectors to your motherboard.
Care:
- Tempered Glass Panel: Clean with a soft, lint-free cloth. Use a glass cleaner sparingly if needed, avoiding direct spray onto the edges.
- High-Performance Fabric Panel: For dust removal, use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment on a low setting or compressed air. For deeper cleaning, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure the fabric is completely dry before reattaching components or powering on the system.
- Dust Filters: Regularly remove and clean the dust filters (typically located at the bottom and front) with water and allow them to air dry completely before reinstallation.
