Setup, Compatibility & Care
To achieve a professional finish, proper surface preparation is essential. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from grease or dust before painting. Lightly sand glossy surfaces to improve mechanical adhesion.
- Priming: Always apply a suitable primer first, especially on bare wood or metal, to guarantee the paint bonds correctly to the substrate.
- Application: Use high-quality brushes or rollers suitable for eggshell paint to ensure an even distribution.
- Drying: Observe recommended drying times between coats to prevent dragging or streaking.
- Care: While the finish is washable, use only mild detergents and a soft cloth when cleaning; avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners which can dull the eggshell sheen.
