No, the OHS 18m Steel Drying Rack arrives fully assembled and ready for immediate use.
While it can be used on a patio or balcony in calm weather, it is primarily designed for indoor use and should not be left out in high winds or rain.
When folded, the rack becomes quite slim, typically only a few centimeters thick, allowing it to slide into narrow spaces like laundry rooms or behind doors.
The steel frame features a protective coating; however, it is recommended to keep it clean and store it in a dry area to prevent oxidation.
The rack is designed for standard laundry loads. It is best to avoid overloading one side to maintain balance, but it comfortably handles a full cycle of wet clothing.
Ensure the rack is placed on a completely flat, level surface and that all locking mechanisms for the legs are fully engaged.
Check for any laundry items or clothing tags caught in the hinges; clear the area and gently fold the wings inward.
Setting up the OHS 18m Steel Drying Rack is straightforward; simply unfold the legs and lock the wings into the desired position. No tools are required for operation.
