Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Clean Surface: Thoroughly clean the application area. Remove all dirt, grease, and moisture. For optimal results on porous surfaces like wood or concrete, consider applying a suitable primer first.
- Cut to Size: Measure and cut the tape to the desired dimensions using sharp scissors or a utility knife.
- Apply Tape: Peel off the backing and carefully apply the tape to the prepared surface, pressing firmly from the center outwards to eliminate air bubbles.
- Seal Edges: For high-traffic or very wet areas, it is recommended to seal the edges of the tape with a compatible sealant to prevent water ingress and ensure long-term adhesion.
Compatibility:
Slips Away tape adheres well to most clean, smooth, and non-porous surfaces including tile, fiberglass, sealed wood, metal, and concrete. It is also compatible with other SlipsAway products for a complete safety solution.
Care:
Clean the tape regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the surface or the tape's adhesive.
