Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply place the doormat flat on your desired surface at the entrance. Ensure the area is dry before placement to allow the PVC backing to adhere effectively.
Compatibility: This doormat is compatible with most indoor and outdoor flooring types, including tile, wood, laminate, and concrete. The PVC backing is designed to be safe for most floor finishes, but it's always advisable to check with your flooring manufacturer if you have concerns about long-term contact with PVC.
Care: To maintain its appearance and effectiveness:
- Regular Shaking: Shake the doormat outdoors periodically to remove loose dirt, dust, and debris.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor stains, use a damp cloth or a soft brush with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely.
- Deep Cleaning (Infrequent): If the mat becomes heavily soiled, you can hose it down outdoors. Avoid high-pressure washing. Ensure it dries completely before bringing it back indoors or placing it back outside.
- Avoid Soaking: Do not allow the doormat to remain saturated with water, as this can degrade the backing and potentially lead to mildew.
