Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Montreux Performance Series Clarinet, always assemble the instrument carefully by applying a small amount of cork grease to the tenon corks if they feel tight. Avoid forcing the sections together, as this can bend the bridge key mechanism.
After every playing session, use a pull-through swab to remove moisture from the bore. Because the instrument features white leather pads, it is critical to keep them dry to prevent premature wear. Store the instrument in its moulded case when not in use, utilizing the front and back accessory pockets for your reeds and cleaning supplies. Regularly wipe the silver-plated keys with a soft microfibre cloth to remove oils and maintain their finish.
