This Briton 1413 Outside Access Locking Unit is a knob-operated device designed for use with Briton 376 Series exit hardware. It allows authorized key holders to gain entry, making it suitable for emergency exit doors. The unit features an anti-vandal design and is supplied with a 40mm euro profile cylinder as standard. It is compatible with doors of 40mm to 100mm thickness and includes fixings suitable for both timber and metal doors. The design is site-reversible, offering good grip and easy operation, and has been tested for durability up to 200,000 cycles. It is also BS8300 compliant and offers a common footprint for easy interchangeability of units. The product comes with a 5-year manufacturer's guarantee.
