Draper Electrical Installation Pliers - 25886 These pliers are designed for electrical installations, offering versatility for various tasks. Key features include: - Gripping of flat and round material - Bending and deburring capabilities - Cutting of cables - Stripping of wires - Crimping of wire ferrules They have smooth surfaces near the tips for gripping single cores without damage, and serrated gripping surfaces with a pipe grip for flat and round material. The pliers also feature clear-cut outside edges for working on flush-mounted junction boxes and deburring feed-through holes. Stripping holes are included for conductors of 0.75 - 1.5 mm and 2.5 mm, and a crimping die for wire ferrules 0.5 - 2.5 mm. Cable shears with induction-hardened precision cutting edges are suitable for copper and aluminum cables up to 5 x 2.5 mm / 15 mm. The slim dimensions ensure easy access, and the bolted joint provides precise, zero-backlash operation. An intelligent latching mechanism allows gripping without opening the pliers, keeping the cutting edges closed and protected. Cutting capacity for copper cable (multiple-stranded) is up to 15 mm and 50 mm. Stripping capacity for single strands is 0.75-1.5 mm / 2.5 mm. Capacity in square millimeters for crimping is 0.5-2.5 mm. They are VDE tested.
