The split pins are made of steel and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance.
The split allows the pin to be bent or spread apart after insertion, preventing it from backing out.
Insert the pin through the hole and then bend the legs outwards to secure it.
These split pins are generally suitable for standard applications; however, for high-stress scenarios, consult the product specifications to confirm the pin's suitability.
Select a pin that fits snugly in the hole and allows the legs to be bent over securely.
Store the split pins in a dry location to prevent corrosion. Keep them in the provided storage case.
The product does not include warranty information. Check with your retailer.
Ensure the pin size is correct for the hole diameter. Use pliers to bend the legs of the pin properly after insertion.
Check the quality of the pin and the hole diameter. Use a new pin and avoid excessive force during installation.
Replace the storage case or find an alternative storage solution.
