Kinfire Delve: Callous' Lab is a cooperative card game for 1-2 players designed for those who enjoy tactical challenges and strategic card play. Its key benefit lies in its unique 'well deck' mechanic, offering a dynamic and unpredictable dungeon-crawling experience. A caveat to be aware of is the shared health pool, demanding close teamwork to avoid defeat. The game features a central boss, Callous, surrounded by a deck of 57 challenge cards that change as players progress. Success hinges on matching skill cards to challenge card colors, managing hand limits to avoid exhaustion, and strategically using rewards to advance.

Kinfire Delve: Callous' Lab is designed for 1 to 2 players.
The goal is to work through a series of challenge cards in the 'Well' and ultimately defeat Callous, the Master of the Well, before the shared health pool drops to zero.
You can play a skill card from your hand if its color matches the color of the current challenge card you are facing. Some cards have dual colors or are wild (white), offering more options.
Defeating a challenge typically provides a reward, such as regaining health, drawing more cards, or advancing deeper into the Well by discarding unseen challenge cards.
Exhaustion cards are negative cards that are added to your deck when you must draw cards but have none left in your hand. They hinder your progress and are detrimental to overcome.
Yes, the game is designed to be played cooperatively by 1 or 2 players, making it suitable for solo adventurers as well.
The difficulty is influenced by the random draw of challenge cards, the order in which they appear, and how well players manage their resources and coordinate their actions.
Check the color requirements of the challenge card. If you have no matching skill cards (including wild cards), you may need to suffer a penalty or find another way to progress, such as through another player's assistance if available.
If the shared health pool reaches zero at any point, the players lose the game. You will need to restart the delve.
Exhaustion cards are drawn when you run out of cards in your hand and need to draw more. These cards have negative effects and are added to your deck, making future draws more difficult. Focus on managing your hand to avoid this.
