FAQs

Is this toy safe for water?

While the material is durable, it is not intended for use as a bath toy or floating aquatic toy.

Are all Asagi Koi figures identical?

No, because each piece is hand-painted by artisans, there will be unique variations in the color and pattern intensity.

What is the recommended age range?

It is suitable for collectors and children, though it is best handled by those old enough to appreciate the fine painted details.

Can I combine this with other Mojo Fun fish?

Yes, this figure is part of a larger collection and scales well with other Koi Carp models like the Tancho or Shiro Utsuri.

How should I display the figurine?

It is best displayed on a flat, stable surface out of direct, intense sunlight to preserve the vibrant paint job.

Troubleshooting

Accumulated dust in textures

Use a soft-bristled brush or a dry microfiber cloth to gently clean the fine details.

Figure does not stand upright

Gently check the fins for minor pressure; the material is slightly flexible and can be carefully adjusted if it has been warped by weight during storage.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High level of artistic detail
Durable construction suitable for various environments
Hand-painted for a unique, authentic finish
Great for both educational purposes and display shelves

Cons

Does not possess mechanical movement
Not designed for use in water as a functional aquatic toy
Static pose may not suit dynamic action play

Setup, Compatibility & Care

No assembly is required for the Asagi Koi figurine. To ensure the longevity of the hand-painted finish, keep the model out of direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent potential color fading. If the figure accumulates dust, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or solvents, as these can strip the non-toxic paint layers. This model is compatible with other figures in the Mojo Fun series, making it easy to build a complete aquatic display or a thematic pond collection.
