Liqui Moly Brake Anti-Squeal Paste is a special synthetic lubricant for the brake system. It is extremely adherent and resistant to road salt and splash water, preventing and eliminating squealing noises between brake caliper pistons or contact points and the brake lining. This paste secures the function of the entire brake system and prevents seizing or rust freezing of the rims on the wheel hub. It has an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +1,200 °C. It is suitable for the entire brake system at disk brake pads, studs, pins, and contact points for drum brakes. It also serves as a separating paste for centering rings on aluminum rims, connection points between rims and wheel hubs, and other plugged and screwed connections. Key features include outstanding adherence, elimination of squeaks, extremely low friction, good corrosion protection, outstanding thermal stability, ease of use, and resistance to road salt and splash water. It is ideally suited as a separating paste. To apply, first clean all sliding surfaces, channels, and contact surfaces using a brush or brake file. Then, clean the brake components with Rapid Cleaner (Part no. 3318). After the solvent has evaporated, apply the paste to the cleaned parts on all sliding surfaces, channels, and contact surfaces. Do not apply paste to the friction surface of the lining or the brake disk. Shelf life in original sealed container: 10 g cushion plastic: 24 months; 100 g tube plastic: 36 months; 1 kg can sheet metal: 60 months.
