Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Ensure your subfloor is clean, dry, and level before installation. Minor imperfections can be accommodated by the flooring's thickness, but significant unevenness may require preparation. Follow manufacturer guidelines for cutting and fitting, typically involving a sharp utility knife.
Compatibility: This flooring is designed for interior domestic use. It is generally compatible with most standard subfloors, including concrete, wood, and existing resilient flooring, provided they are properly prepared. Avoid installation in areas subject to extreme moisture or temperature fluctuations without appropriate underlayment and sealing.
Care: Regular maintenance involves sweeping or vacuuming to remove dust and debris. For deeper cleaning, use a damp mop with a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or excessive water, as this can damage the vinyl over time. No special waxing or polishing is required.
