Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or oil.
- Apply a thin, even layer of adhesive to *both* surfaces using a brush or spreader.
- Allow the adhesive to dry until it is tacky to the touch (typically 15-30 minutes, depending on conditions).
- Carefully align the surfaces and press them together firmly. A roller may be used for large areas to ensure uniform pressure.
- The bond forms on contact; ensure precise alignment before pressing.
Compatibility:
Suitable for wood, laminate, metal, rubber, leather, cork, and many plastics. Test on a small, inconspicuous area first, especially with plastics, to ensure compatibility.
Care:
Store tins in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure lids are tightly sealed after use. Clean up any excess uncured adhesive immediately with a dry cloth or mineral spirits (test first). Cured adhesive can be difficult to remove.
