The Sloomy Lisbon Double Divan Set is designed for individuals seeking a stable, modern foundation for their mattress with a refined aesthetic. Its key benefit is the durable platform-top construction ensuring even support and longevity. A potential caveat is the mattress's suitability primarily for occasional use, meaning it might not be ideal for very heavy daily use without consideration. This set features a handcrafted UK frame, a standard 26-inch strutted headboard with a plain triple panel design, and offers a choice of premium fabric finishes.

The platform-top base provides a consistent and even surface for your mattress, which helps to prevent sagging and extends the lifespan of your mattress by distributing weight uniformly.
The Sloomy Lisbon Divan Set comes with a 26-inch strutted headboard as standard. Different heights are not offered as a standard option with this model.
The mattress is described as ideal for spare rooms or occasional use. While it provides balanced comfort and support, it may not be the best option for individuals requiring extremely robust support for intensive daily use over many years.
You can typically clean the fabric by wiping it with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For specific fabric types, consult the manufacturer's recommendations for the chosen material.
The specific model described, 'Sloomy Lisbon - Double', is a 'Divan Set No Drawers'. Therefore, it does not include storage drawers.
The mattress component of the Sloomy Lisbon Divan Set comes with a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.
As the mattress is single-sided, it should be rotated end-to-end regularly to ensure even wear and maintain its supportive qualities. Recommended frequency is typically every 1-3 months, but check the mattress care tag for specific advice.
Ensure all gliders are securely attached. Check that the headboard is firmly fixed to the divan base. If the noise persists, it may indicate a settling of the frame or mattress; try rotating the mattress.
Verify that the mattress is correctly centered on the platform-top base. Rotate the mattress end-to-end as recommended for single-sided mattresses to ensure even wear.
Ensure the chrome gliders are properly installed and aligned. Lift one side of the bed slightly at a time to move it, rather than dragging, to protect both the gliders and the floor.
Regularly dust and gently vacuum the fabric. Address spills immediately with a damp cloth. Avoid direct sunlight exposure which can cause fading.
Setup: The divan set typically arrives with the base pre-assembled. Simply attach the chrome gliders to the base and fix the headboard to the designated points on the divan. The mattress is ready to be placed on the platform top. It is recommended to have two people for easier assembly, especially when attaching the headboard.
Compatibility: This divan set is designed for use with a standard double mattress. The platform-top surface is suitable for all mattress types. Ensure the mattress dimensions match a standard double size (135cm x 190cm).
