Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Upon receiving your Zeppelin LZ127 Graf Automatic Watch, it may need to be wound manually to start the movement if it has been stationary for an extended period. Gently shake the watch or manually wind the crown (usually by turning it clockwise while pulled out to its first position) until you feel resistance. Ensure the crown is pushed back in to maintain water resistance. The date can be set by pulling the crown to its first position and turning it.
Compatibility: This is a standalone mechanical watch and does not interface with other devices. The leather strap is designed for standard watch cases and can be replaced with other 20mm straps if desired.
Care:
- Winding: Regularly wear the watch to keep the automatic movement powered. If worn infrequently, manual winding (15-20 turns of the crown) may be necessary weekly.
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive materials. Clean the leather strap with a leather conditioner periodically and avoid exposing it to excessive moisture or direct sunlight.
- Water Resistance: While water-resistant up to 50 meters, avoid prolonged submersion, swimming, or diving. Ensure the crown is always in its closed position to maintain water resistance. Have the seals checked periodically, especially if the watch has been exposed to significant moisture.
- Strap Care: Allow the leather strap to dry naturally if it becomes wet. Avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged exposure to heat.
