RP-SMA stands for Reverse Polarity SubMiniature version A. It's a variation of the standard SMA connector often used in Wi-Fi equipment. The 'reverse polarity' means the gender of the center conductor is swapped compared to standard SMA. It's crucial that your device uses RP-SMA connectors, as standard SMA connectors will not physically fit or will not connect properly.
