The ATEK Cat8 Ethernet Cable 1.5m is designed for power users, gamers, and professionals who require ultra-fast, low-latency connectivity for high-bandwidth tasks like 4K/8K streaming and cloud computing. It offers an exceptional 40Gbps data transfer rate and 2000MHz bandwidth for maximum network efficiency, though its short 1.5-meter length limits it primarily to localized device connections near a router or network switch.

Yes, this cable is fully backward compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat7 standards.
Yes, the high-quality copper and shielding in this Cat8 cable make it suitable for standard PoE applications.
Yes, it features S/FTP (Screened Fully Shielded Twisted Pair) construction to block interference.
This specific model is 1.5 meters long, making it ideal for desktop connections.
It will ensure your local network connection is as stable as possible, but it cannot increase speeds beyond what your Internet Service Provider delivers.
This cable is designed for indoor residential or commercial environments.
Ensure the connector is fully inserted and the plastic locking tab has engaged. Check that the port on your router or PC is enabled.
Confirm that your network interface card (NIC), router, and ISP plan support the speeds you are testing. Cat8 performance is capped by the slowest component in your network.
To install, simply click the RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port on your device until you hear a clear click. The cable is fully backward compatible, meaning it will function perfectly with older hardware; however, note that it will only operate at the maximum speed supported by the slowest device in your link chain. To maintain the cable's longevity, avoid bending it at extreme angles near the connectors, as this can stress the internal wiring. Keep the cable away from extreme heat sources and avoid pinching it under heavy furniture to preserve the integrity of the S/FTP shielding.
