Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This is a wall-mounted cooker hood. Ensure it is securely fixed to the wall according to the manufacturer's instructions and local building codes. If using the ducted option, ensure proper ventilation ducting is installed. For recirculating installations, carbon filters must be in place.
Compatibility: The hood is compatible with standard AC power supply (220-240 V, 50-60 Hz). The exhaust connection diameter is a minimum of 15 cm. It is designed to be used above standard cookers and hobs.
Care:
- Filters: The metal grease filters should be removed and washed regularly (at least monthly, depending on usage) by hand or in a dishwasher. The charcoal filters (if used for recirculating) typically need replacement every 3-6 months, as they cannot be washed.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Interior: Clean the inside of the hood periodically. Ensure the hood is unplugged before cleaning.
- Lighting: The LED bulbs are replaceable; consult the manual for specific instructions.
