A platform-top divan base features a solid, flat surface for your mattress, offering firm support and preventing the mattress from sagging over time. It's generally more supportive than a slatted base.
Consider your room's decor and your preference for texture and durability. Plush Velvet offers a luxurious feel, while Naples and Coniston are also popular choices for their aesthetic appeal. Dumfries offers a different texture and look.
The headboard is 26 inches high and is strutted, meaning it attaches to the bed base.
Yes, you can choose between 2 drawers placed either on the left, right, or at the foot end of the base, or opt for 4 drawers (two on each side/foot end depending on base size).
Yes, the bed base requires assembly. However, all necessary fixings, including pre-fitted metal connection clips and headboard bolts, are included to facilitate the process.
The package includes the platform-top divan base, a 26-inch strutted headboard, chrome gliders, pre-fitted metal connection clips, headboard bolts and fixings, and a 12-inch matching footboard.
For most fabrics, gentle spot cleaning with a slightly damp cloth and a mild upholstery cleaner is recommended. Avoid soaking the fabric. Always check the specific care instructions for the fabric you choose.
Ensure all connection clips are securely fastened and that the chrome gliders are properly attached and even.
Verify that the headboard bolts are tightened securely. Ensure the strutted headboard is correctly aligned with the pre-drilled holes on the base.
Check that the base is on a level surface. Ensure no obstructions are hindering the metal runners. Wipe the runners clean if they appear dusty.
Double-check all packaging materials. If parts are confirmed missing, contact customer support with your order details.
