Setup, Compatibility & Care
Your skateboard arrives mostly assembled. However, you'll want to check the following:
- Truck Tightness: Ensure the trucks are tightened correctly for your riding style. Tighten them for more stability, loosen them for maneuverability. Adjust the kingpin nut.
- Wheel Check: Spin each wheel to check that the bearings are moving freely. If not, loosen the axle nuts slightly.
- Grip Tape: The grip tape is already applied. Ensure your shoes have good contact with the grip tape for safe riding.
Compatibility
The skateboard is designed for riders of various skill levels. It is suitable for a wide range of weights and can be used on a variety of surfaces, such as paved roads, sidewalks, and skate parks.
Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the deck with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Bearing Maintenance: Clean and lubricate the bearings regularly to maintain smooth rolling. Remove the wheels, remove the bearing shields, and clean the bearings with a bearing cleaner.
- Truck Maintenance: Tighten or loosen the trucks as needed. Replace worn bushings.
