Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the drill is unplugged before inserting or removing any bits.
- Open the chuck jaws by turning the chuck body (usually counter-clockwise).
- Insert the desired drill bit or screwdriver bit fully into the chuck.
- Tighten the chuck firmly using the provided chuck key, ensuring all three holes are engaged for maximum grip.
- Plug the drill into a suitable power outlet.
Compatibility:
This drill is compatible with standard drill bits and screwdriver bits that fit a Ø13mm chuck. For hammer drilling in masonry, use masonry-specific drill bits. Ensure your power outlet meets the voltage and amperage requirements for the tool.
Care:
- Cleaning: Unplug the drill before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Ventilation: Keep the air vents clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
- Storage: Store the drill in a clean, dry place. Protect the chuck and cord from damage.
