This model does not have a separate mode switch. The hammer action is typically engaged by applying pressure when drilling into masonry. Refer to the product manual for specific operational details.

While the variable speed can help, this drill is optimized for drilling and screw driving. For mixing paint or mortar, a dedicated mixer attachment with a slower, higher-torque drill is generally recommended.

The drill features a Ø13mm chuck, accepting standard drill bits and screwdriver bits with shanks that fit within this diameter. It is a keyed chuck, requiring a chuck key for tightening and loosening.

Typically, a chuck key is supplied with the drill to ensure secure bit changes. Please check the product packaging upon receipt.

Ensure the drill is securely plugged into a working power outlet. Check the power cord for any visible damage. Test the outlet with another appliance.

Check if the drill bit is blunt or damaged. Ensure the air vents are clear of dust. If drilling into masonry, confirm the hammer action is engaged and that you are using a masonry bit.

Ensure there is no debris obstructing the chuck jaws. Try rotating the chuck while applying slight pressure. If the issue persists, a drop of lubricating oil may help, but consult the manual if available.

Ensure the drill bit is properly seated and tightened in the chuck. If using hammer action, some vibration is normal, but excessive noise or vibration may indicate a damaged bit or internal issue.
