Troubleshooting
Chair height keeps sinking
Check the gas lift cylinder for obstructions. If it continues to sink, the gas lift may need to be replaced.

Inspect all bolts and screws on the base and under the seat to ensure they are tightened to the frame.
Tilt mechanism feels too loose or too stiff
The auto tilt tensioner is weight-sensitive; ensure you are sitting correctly in the center of the seat for the mechanism to calibrate accurately to your weight.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly of the Mode Executive Chair follows standard office chair protocols. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely during initial assembly to maintain structural integrity. The chair is compatible with standard office flooring, though the use of a floor mat is recommended for carpeted areas to ensure smooth rolling and to protect the floor surface.
To keep the chair in top condition, perform a monthly check of the fasteners to ensure they remain tight. For the upholstery, use a soft, damp cloth with a mild soap solution for general cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the premium materials of the seat and backrest. Keep the gas lift mechanism free from excessive dust or debris to ensure smooth height adjustment over time.
