FAQs

Is assembly required for this bed?

No, the DS Living Diamond Divan Bed is crafted to order and delivered pre-assembled, saving you from complex assembly tasks.

Does this bed include storage?

No, this is a non-ottoman divan base, meaning it is designed specifically for maximum structural support rather than storage.

Can I return the bed if I change my mind?

Because each bed is custom-crafted to order, returns are only accepted if the item is found to be faulty at the point of delivery.

How should I clean the tufted headboard?

Regularly dust with a soft brush attachment on your vacuum. For spills, blot gently with a clean, slightly damp cloth without scrubbing.

What type of mattress is best for this base?

The sturdy, flat surface of this divan is compatible with most mattress types, including pocket spring, memory foam, and hybrid mattresses.

What should I check before delivery?

Ensure you measure your entry points, hallways, and bedroom doors to verify the pre-assembled base will fit through your home.

Troubleshooting

Fabric appears slightly different in color than the online photos.

Colors are affected by screen settings and fabric dye batches; allow for minor variations inherent to the custom manufacturing process.

Headboard feels loose.

Ensure that all bolts connecting the headboard to the divan base are securely tightened using the provided or recommended hardware.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Elegant diamond-tufted headboard design
  • Solid, supportive foundation for your mattress
  • Pre-assembled construction avoids complex home assembly
  • Premium, soft-touch fabric upholstery
  • Sophisticated silver color fits most room decors

Cons

  • No storage functionality as it is a non-ottoman base
  • Not flat-packed, which may require specific delivery considerations
  • Strict return policy due to custom-made nature
  • Fabric colors may vary slightly from studio images due to batch differences

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Since this product is delivered as a pre-assembled unit rather than a flat-pack item, it is essential to ensure that your room measurements and access paths (doorways and hallways) can accommodate the full size of the bed base prior to delivery.

Care Instructions:

  • Vacuuming: Use a soft upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the tufted buttons and fabric crevices.
  • Spot Cleaning: If a spill occurs, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners that may damage the fabric fibers.
  • Placement: Keep the bed away from direct heat sources and prolonged direct sunlight to prevent potential color fading of the silver fabric over time.
