Our sharpening system consists of 4 different jigs which allow all types of HSS turning chisels to be sharpened, to make your lathe work a pleasure. The package consists of Charnwood BG6 Bench Grinder & BGCS4 Woodturners Chisel Sharpening SystemBG6: Bench Grinder with 6″ diameter wheels, can be used for all grinding, sharpening and shaping tasks around the workshop.The white stone helps to prevent heat build up and is used for sharpening heat sensitive tools such as High Speed Steel (HSS).The other end of the grinder is fitted with a coarse Aluminium Oxide grey stone for fast removal of material.The grinder is driven by a smooth and quiet induction motor.The universal sharpening system consists of 2 base clamps which are fitted underneath each wheel of the grinder allowing concurrent grinding set ups.
