Yes, standard installations typically require spacers depending on whether your shell is 68mm or 73mm wide.
The cartridge bearings are sealed and designed for long life, but they should be inspected for play or grinding noises during your routine annual bicycle maintenance.
You need an FSA-compatible MegaExo external bottom bracket tool.
The total weight is approximately 200g.
Remove the bottom bracket, clean the frame threads, apply fresh grease to the threads and bearing faces, and reinstall to the correct torque.
Verify that the crank bolt is tightened to the recommended torque and confirm that no required spacers are missing for your 68mm or 73mm shell setup.
Ensure the bottom bracket was not overtightened during installation and check that the frame shell was properly faced by a professional technician.
Compatibility is strictly limited to 19mm MegaExo spindles. Before installation, confirm that your frame shell width is either 68mm or 73mm and that it utilizes a standard threaded interface.
