Proper administration is critical for efficacy. Before use, ensure the horse's mouth is free of food particles to prevent the paste from being spat out.
- Weigh your horse: Use a weight tape or scale to determine the exact weight to ensure you set the syringe ring correctly.
- Set the plunger: Turn the ring on the syringe plunger to the mark corresponding to the horse's weight.
- Application: Insert the nozzle into the interdental space and deposit the paste onto the back of the tongue.
- Storage: Keep syringes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to ensure the integrity of the medication.
