Full details
The ACS ACR1281U-C2 is a contactless card reader designed to automatically and efficiently retrieve the Unique Identifier (UID) of ISO 14443 Parts 1-4 Type A and B-compliant contactless cards. When a contactless card, like a MIFARE card, is presented, the reader extracts its UID and sends it directly to the PC, where it can be input into any editor such as Notepad, MS Excel, or MS Word. This UID facilitates correct identification of cardholders in various applications, including identity verification, time and attendance tracking, and access control systems. The ACR1281U-C2 features an anti-collision function to ensure only one card is read when multiple cards are presented simultaneously. As it complies with the Human Interface Device (HID) standard, driver installation is simplified during PC integration.
