Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity of your slow cooker:
- Cooking Pot: The cooking pot is dishwasher-safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge to protect the non-stick coating. Do not use harsh scourers or metallic utensils which can damage the surface.
- Heating Base: Always ensure the base unit is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
- Lid: The lid can be washed in warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the pot inside the base unit to save space.
