The NGT VX2 bite alarm is designed for dedicated carp fishing enthusiasts who require a reliable and versatile bite indication system. Users should be aware that the device requires an LRV08 battery, which should be monitored for longevity during extended multi-day fishing trips.

Check the battery connection. If the alarm sounds but the LED doesn't flash, the LED bulb may be faulty or the battery power is too low to drive the light.
Ensure the jack plug is fully inserted into the socket and check the cable of your illuminated indicator for signs of internal wire damage.
To set up your NGT VX2, simply screw the alarm onto your bankstick or rod pod using the standard thread. Insert the required LRV08 battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity. If using illuminated bobbins, connect the plug into the jack socket located on the bottom of the unit. For care, keep the unit in its protective case when not in use. After fishing in heavy rain, wipe the alarm down with a clean, dry cloth to prevent moisture build-up around the rubber seals. Never submerge the unit fully in water.
