Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, dry surface.
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Wash the ice basket and scooper before first use.
- Fill the water tank with clean, fresh water up to the maximum fill line. Do not overfill.
- Plug the ice maker into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Select your desired ice cube size (small or large).
- Press the power button to begin the ice-making cycle.
Compatibility:
This ice maker is designed for indoor use in standard home or RV electrical outlets. It requires a stable power source and a flat surface. It is not designed for outdoor use or exposure to extreme temperatures.
Care and Maintenance:
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Interior Cleaning: Use the built-in self-cleaning function regularly. To activate, follow the instructions in the provided manual (typically involves filling the water tank and pressing a specific button). Ensure the unit is switched off and unplugged before performing any manual cleaning.
- Water: Always use clean, fresh water. Replace water in the tank if the unit is not used for an extended period.
- Storage: When not in use for a prolonged time, ensure the unit is switched off, unplugged, empty, and dry. Store in a dry, indoor place.
