FAQs
What type of candle should I use?
Use a candle that fits securely within the integrated glass holder. Pillar candles or thick votive candles are generally suitable, but check the dimensions of the holder.
Can I use a LED candle instead of a real one?
Yes, LED candles are a safe and excellent alternative to real candles, especially in areas where open flames are a concern or for extended use.
How do I clean the wicker?
Dust regularly with a dry cloth. For tougher marks, use a slightly damp cloth and allow the wicker to air dry completely.
Is this lantern suitable for outdoor use?
It can be used in covered outdoor areas, but it is not weatherproof. It is best to bring it indoors during rain or strong winds and to protect it from prolonged direct sunlight.
Does it come with a candle?
No, the lantern does not include a candle. A separate candle needs to be purchased.
Can I combine this with other lanterns from the collection?
Absolutely. This lantern is designed to coordinate with other items in the B&Q wicker lighting collection for a cohesive look.
What are the dimensions of the lantern?
Please refer to the product specifications section for exact dimensions. This is the 'Large' size in the peardrop series.
Troubleshooting
Wicker appears uneven or has loose strands.
This is a characteristic of natural, handmade wicker. Gently tuck any very loose strands back into the weave. Minor variations are part of the authentic aesthetic.
Glass holder seems unstable.
Ensure the candle placed inside is the correct size and centered. If the holder itself is loose, contact customer support for assistance.
Color appears different from online image.
Natural materials have inherent color variations. The honey-toned finish can appear slightly different depending on lighting conditions and the specific batch of wicker used.
