Initial Setup:
Upon receiving the bike, ensure all components are securely fastened. The bike requires some assembly, typically including attaching the handlebars, pedals, and front wheel. It is highly recommended to have a professional bike mechanic perform a final inspection and setup to ensure safety and optimal performance. The battery may need to be charged before its first use.
Compatibility:
- Bosch Smart System: Compatible with Bosch diagnostic tools and updates.
- Lights: Features an X-Connect system for easy integration of compatible ACID front lights.
- Accessories: Includes mounting points for an optional kickstand, fenders, and a carrier rack, offering versatility for commuting or touring.
- Tires: Tubeless Ready rims allow for conversion to a tubeless tire setup for improved puncture resistance and ride quality.
Care and Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Clean the frame and components with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure water jets, especially near bearings and the motor.
- Battery: Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Recharge as needed, but avoid leaving it fully discharged for extended periods.
- Drivetrain: Regularly clean and lubricate the chain and gears for smooth shifting and to prolong component life.
- Brakes: Periodically check brake pad wear and fluid levels. Ensure rotors are clean and free from contaminants.
- Suspension: Keep the suspension stanchions clean. Refer to the suspension manufacturer's guidelines for specific maintenance intervals.
