Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure your surface is flat and level; uneven concrete can place unnecessary stress on the base plate. You will need to source appropriate anchor bolts based on your specific ground material (e.g., masonry bolts for concrete).
- Measure and mark the hole locations using the base plate as a template.
- Drill the appropriate pilot holes into your concrete or timber.
- Secure the base plate using heavy-duty bolts.
- Slide the 100mm post into the support and tighten the side bolts until the post is held firmly.
For care, periodically check the twin bolts for tightness, especially after periods of high wind. The brown coating is weather-resistant, but should you notice any chips, touching it up with metal-safe exterior paint will help maintain its anti-corrosion properties.
